When lives hang in the balance, the Hills Beach Volunteer Rescue Unit stands as a beacon of hope, rushing to the aid of anyone whose life may be in danger. Our strategically located rescue station, nestled on a one-mile-long, narrow ocean peninsula, positions us at the forefront of emergency response.

With a deep understanding of the unpredictable nature of the sea and the relentless power of natural disasters, we will assist wherever and whenever possible as we are prepared to face the most challenging situations but always second to authorized state and municipal first responders. Our planned to-be-acquired rescue boats will be poised for action and will be able to swiftly navigate any calm to turbulent sea waters within our region to reach those in need.

Our commitment extends beyond the vast expanse of the ocean. We are acutely aware of the peril that can strike within the confines of one's home during a hurricane's wrath or as in our recent Maine's nor'easters. Our dedicated team of trained professionals is ready to respond to calls for help, venturing into the face of hurricane winds and raging surf to reach those trapped inside their homes.
